FAQ
-
Where are sessions offered?
Sessions are conducted virtually via Zoom.
In-person sessions are available for students local to Los Angeles at my home office in Los Feliz.
-
When are sessions offered?
Sessions are 55 minutes in length and are offered Monday-Thursday. I also have a handful of openings on Sunday afternoons. I ask students to reserve the same time weekly in order to book a standing spot in my schedule.
-
How often should we meet?
Most students schedule sessions once or twice per week depending on their academic goals, learning profiles, and extracurricular schedules.
We can discuss what frequency would be most effective during our intro call.
-
My child is neurodiverse. Can you help?
Yes! I have lots of experience working with neurodiverse students, including many on the autism spectrum. I make it a priority to adjust my teaching style so it works for each student’s unique strengths and challenges. I also work with students with ADHD, providing targeted executive function support.
If applicable, I’d be happy to review your child’s neuropsychological assessment, 504 plan, or IEP prior to our first meeting. This helps me gain deeper insight and tailor my approach to best support their learning.
-
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 24 hours notice to cancel a session without a penalty. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a full session fee. In the case of serious illness or emergency, I allow a no-penalty session reschedule on a case-by-case basis.
